From Timber to Taconite - The Nashwauk, Minnesota area
Begun nearly 100 years ago, in 1927, and centered in the city of Nashwauk, the Nashwauk Area Chamber of Commerce draws members from a wide geographical area. The fourteen towns represented by our current members include Bemidji, Biwabik, Bovey, Cloquet, Cohasset, Gilbert, Grand Rapids, Hibbing, Keewatin, Marble, Mountain Iron, Nashwauk, Pengilly, and Two Harbors.
The core of the area, the Mesabi Iron Range, has a hometown atmosphere, friendly people, and sincere hospitality. Visits to this beautiful region are relaxing and enjoyable. With abundant bodies of water and lush Northern Minnesota woodlands, the Nashwauk area is a sportsman's paradise. We're sure you'll agree that the area's natural beauty is worth experiencing.
Historically, one of the main events of the Nashwauk Area Chamber of Commerce is the annual Home, Sport & Travel Show, held in the Spring. The NACC also holds an annual golf tournament in July and the Boo-tique Craft Show in October. We are currently striving to host more events to bring our community together. We welcome new members to join us and participate in any or all of these great outings.
